2 Final front pages
After experimenting with different styles of magazine taking into account the codes and conventions, i decided that the one i was going to publish is the one with the bold yellow title because i think it looks fun and festival like. I have used a yellow Title for my magazine 'Bestival', I have used this colour to make my magazine look fun it is a summery colour and all the music festivals take place in the summer, it is in bold capital letters to make it stand out so people want to buy it. The lighting looks quite bright on my frontpage and is highlighted by bright colours.
The mise en scene i have used is Glastonbury world famous music festival, it has been famous for many years i have watched the film and have been to Glastonbury so i know what its like. The image i have used is a medium close up of a young trendy girl, i have used this to attract male and female buyers, it will attract the girls because it has a fashion pullout magazine and the boys because of the pretty girl on the front. I have used selllines and straplines to catch the eye of the audience and make them more interested they can win tickets for concerts and festivals, and get free calendars and fashion pullouts.

Ideas that have come to mind
My magazine is going to be aimed at people that are interested in festivals, it is aimed at working class aged 18-30 year olds. I have chosen this age group because i am within this age range, i know about what people my age like so its more of an advantage for me.
For my front cover I am going to have a photograph of a young trendy individual that looks like a festival goer and looks fun.
I am going to use fresh outdoor colours.
I am going to include a section of my double page spread on what you should and shouldn’t take with you to festivals (clothes wise) and how to look good but be comfortable.
I am going to introduce new bands and singers and give 2 lucky winners a chance to play at Glastonbury, I am also going to include discount drink tokens for the oncoming festivals.
I am going to include an events guide, with dates of the festivals so i will need to research festivals and see what the dates are for the oncoming festivals, i will include information on the price of tickets and where you can purchase them from.
I may also let a few secrets out about who may be the star guest at glastonbury.

Analysing magazine front pages
Fonts used; Pink title shows that it’s a girls magazine looks like its aimed at 16 to 25 year olds.
The image used is a photograph of a modern teenage girl, it connotes femininity, you can tell the gender of the magazine is female. The actual stereotyping of the typical young woman is slim with blonde hair pretty and fashionable.
A reader will gain an insight into the world; readers will learn what it is to be a woman. It will provide readers with a sense of community, comfort, pride and feminine identity.
It shows that it will show young woman how to be stylish and better in the bedroom department.
Promotes a feminine culture.
magazine is glossy and colourful, connoting pleasure and relaxation rather than seriousness, the smell and feel of the glossy paper connotes luxury.
